Dr. Glaucomflecken brought his signature blend of science, humor, and just the right amount of snark to the 27th Annual Indiana Rural Health Conference in French Lick, Indiana, where he served as this year’s keynote speaker. The event was well-attended as RPS Imaging once again provided financial support by sponsoring a booth. But this wasn’t your typical keynote address.

“Glaucomflecken Live” is a nationally touring stage show that seamlessly weaves together medical comedy, sharp social commentary, and deeply personal storytelling. Dr. Glaucomflecken, alongside his wife and creative partner Lady Glaucomflecken, delivered a performance that was equal parts hilarious and heartfelt. Audiences laughed along with the internet-famous characters and were moved by the couple’s powerful story of surviving a sudden, near-fatal cardiac arrest.

The presentation served as a compelling reminder of the importance of centering humanity in healthcare—and why laughter really can be the best medicine.
