Detroit Grand Prix 2025

For the past seven years, RPS Imaging has had the incredible honor of standing behind the scenes of one of Detroit’s most iconic events—the Detroit Grand Prix—delivering critical medical imaging support where it matters most. What began on the scenic grounds of Belle Isle has now returned to its thrilling roots on the streets of downtown Detroit—and we’ve been honored to be part of that journey every step of the way. In years past, we’ve highlighted the incredible imaging capabilities of our Samsung GM85 portable x-ray machine. And while we’re still proud of the technology we bring to the event, this year we want to shine a light on something even more meaningful: the people who make it all possible.

At the heart of this effort are two remarkable individuals whose dedication and teamwork embody the very best of what this event represents. Working alongside Dr. Trifun Dimitrijevski, MD, FACEP of the Detroit Receiving Hospital Department of Emergency Medicine has been nothing short of inspiring. From the earliest planning meetings to the fast-paced intensity of race weekend, Dr. “D” brings unwavering commitment and compassion to everything he does. His leadership ensures that the medical operations run smoothly and efficiently, always with patient care at the forefront.

Partnering with him every step of the way is our own Elaine Touma Ephraim. Elaine’s dedication to this event and her passion for delivering outstanding medical care are unmatched. Together, she and Dr. D collaborate with our operational experts, to form a seamless team that ensures every detail is handled—from the staging and transport of equipment to on-site service and safe return. It’s a process full of moving parts and behind-the-scenes coordination, much of which goes unseen, but none of which goes unappreciated.
